AOPA's Air Safety Foundation is returning to Manitowoc!   Join us on Wednesday, October 3rd from 7-9PM for AOPA's next ASF safety seminar,  "Regulations - What Every Pilot Should Know".  They promise this will be a lively and interesting look at how rules and regulations are formed, and what their impact is on you.  AOPA hopes to have an aviation attorney available to answer all your legal questions during and after the event. Your host, Lakeshore Aviation, will provide free coffee and cookies, fuel discounts for those who fly in, and  your chance to win some great door prizes.

Text Box: Brand New LSA aircraft, the Savage Cruiser got it's Airworthiness Certificate on March 10, 2007. Present for the event were FAA DAR Inspector/EAA Staff member Joe Norris, Savage Aircraft Sales Julie Hartlaub, Dennis Goodwin, Savage Aircraft Sales Keith Hartlaub and Lakeshore Aviation's President and CFI Curt Drumm. The Savage will be available for rental and Light Sport & Tailwheel training at Lakeshore Aviation.

We've recently expanded our services, as we promised:

We are the factory sales and service center for the new Light Sport Aircraft, the Savage Cruiser.

We have a Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) Pilot school, currently with a Savage Cruiser (traildragger), and plan on adding a nosewheel LSA aircraft soon. 

Our shop will soon be an authorized ROTAX aircraft engine service center, and we will have an FAA-approved Designated Airworthiness Representative (DAR) on staff for LSA certification.

We are in the process of obtaining our FAA Part 135 Air Carrier Charter certificate and have acquired a Piper Seneca equipped with the latest satellite-based color moving-map GPS systems. We will offer affordable Charter air travel to northeastern Wisconsin. (FAA certification pending, expected July 2007.)

We are an authorized LoPresti Speed Merchants sales/installation facility and also proudly stock David Clark headsets.

 Several other changes are in the works, and we're excited to be expanding our services.
